Art in Motion: Bringing my "Chronicles of Matter" to London

You know that feeling when a major event has just ended, but your mind is still completely wrapped up in it, replaying every conversation and every lingering look from the audience? That’s exactly where I am right now.

I’m finally catching my breath, gathering my thoughts, and with a huge, genuine sense of pride, I want to share some wonderful news with you all. On February 21st and 22nd, I had the honor of participating as Art Liard in the incredible international exhibition “Trajectories of Life” in London.

This wasn’t just a regular art show. Two amazing spaces—AMOVE Gallery in London and Visionary Art Gallery from Wales—teamed up to turn the historic St. Margaret’s House into a space for deep reflection. The curators challenged us to speak with the audience about three fundamental things: Meaning, Beauty, and Time. The core idea of the show was that art is never static. It’s always moving, even when it seems frozen in thick layers of paint.

My series that traveled to London is called “Chronicles of Matter.” It was incredibly moving to see how it naturally entered into a dialogue with the curators’ vision. After all, matter is the ultimate keeper of time. It shifts, transforms, breaks down, and rebuilds itself, holding the physical imprints of our shared history. Seeing my work in such a strong international context, surrounded by breathtaking artists from all over… I won’t hide it, it is a massive honor and a deeply significant milestone in my professional journey. It’s one of those rare moments when you physically feel that your voice is sounding out loud, and people are actually listening.

The atmosphere over those two days was just indescribable. The energy of the Private View, the buzz of the London streets right outside the windows of the old building, the engaged faces of people stopping at your work to find something of their own in it. The exhibition brought together very different worlds—from tangible, physical reality to the elusive life of the spirit. Being part of this beautiful, complex mix is just priceless.

In the exhibition statement, the organizers asked a simple yet profound question: “Where are we going today, and what do we choose to take with us?”

Looking back at these days in London, I know my answer. I’m taking this vibrant energy, immense inspiration, and the drive to keep exploring this world even more honestly and boldly through my art.

Thank you to everyone who follows my journey and supports me. Without your belief in what I do, none of this would be possible!

(By the way, if you’re curious to see how it went or want to look at the other artists’ works, the full exhibition catalogue and virtual show are available on Artsy).
